We are so lucky to have found this gorgeous French vintage oyster basket from Île d'Oleron, where they were once used to harvest and condition the oysters.
These baskets are becoming very rare, since plastic replacement have been introduced. A beautiful rusty patina, but still very solid. A handle on each side make it perfect for so many uses, from storing logs, toys, magazines, shoes, books, vegetables, cleaning products, recycling.....
